In a small flat in the suburbs, Léon, a lonely old man, dreams of rebuilding relationships. As he prepares a meal, his everyday life is transformed: vegetables, utensils and inanimate objects come to life, drawing him into a colourful and poetic phantasmagoria. In this escapade between gloomy reality and vivid imagination, Léon rediscovers a forgotten vitality, mixing laughter, tenderness and suspended moments. But this magical interlude gives way to a poignant reflection on the loneliness of the elderly.
This multi-technique puppet show, inspired by black theatre and bunraku, invites children aged 6 and over and their families to explore, with delicacy and wonder, the often hidden treasures of the generations that preceded us.
Between silence and bewitching sound effects, Léon is an ode to social ties, listening and the poetry of everyday life. A unique intergenerational experience, full of humanity and emotion.
